Yoga for Pregnancy

Yoga for pregnancy is a great practice for women in pregnancy and a lovely activity for both you and your baby. It is open to yogi’s of all levels and abilities, many women come to yoga for the first time in pregnancy and it is a great way to restore balance and improve vitality.

Ceri has a passion for women’s journeys throughout the childbirth continuum, as your body changes, yoga allows for acceptance and is a great way to enjoy pregnancy and to spend some quality time bonding with your bump.

Yoga has been proven to have a number of health benefits for women in pregnancy including reducing high blood pressure, increasing strength and stamina while respecting your growing body and to help to reduce tension and stress. We know how busy life gets with work, looking after other people and trying to fit it all in. Ceri’s yoga classes can help you take time out for you and your baby, help you to relax and sleep while preparing you for the wonderful birth of your baby.

With focus on breathing, relaxation and movement, yoga for pregnancy is perfect for preparing yourself and your baby for labour and birth and for celebrating this special time in your life.

Ceri has a background in Sport Science, she has three children and was introduced to yoga during her first pregnancy. Seeing and feeling the benefits for herself, Ceri trained as an active birth teacher and has been teaching women in Warrington for three years both antenatally and postnatally. Ceri’s passion for yoga and for women has resulted in her training as a yoga for pregnancy teacher. Ceri is also passionate about Midwifery care and the care that women receive whilst on the journey through pregnancy.

Ceri’s classes are on a Wednesday and Friday evening at Stockton Heath Primary School
6:15 – 7:30pm and 7:45 – 9pm. Starting again mid Jan 2017. Please contact for details.

The classes are open to women of all levels of yoga from 16 – 42 weeks of pregnancy. Classes are 6 classes for  £40 (with 8 weeks to take them). Please contact
