2011 is the year when I get to experience new things. To this goal I have already booked on workshops with the Radikal Freedom yoga, Christopher Gladwell, the Yogabeats yogi, David Sye and a Thai massage (otherwise known as lazy man’s yoga) course. One of my other exciting new experiences is my new website..about to be launched to the world!!
When I first started teaching I allowed my love of purple to infiltrate into my website design. Now I’m growing and developing in my practice and my life I decided to change my design too. I’m hoping this will also allow easier access to my blog, class schedule and freebies and special offers.
I’m also hoping to expand what I can offer my students in 2011, so all ideas are welcome. As my personal practice and experience expands I would like the opportunity to bring this to Cheshire. I’m hoping to offer regular workshops with myself ,with other teachers and with holistic practitioners from other disciplines. Workshops are an opportunity to explore ideas, philosophy or postures in greater depth. We can do either half days or full days, Saturdays or Sundays…so please let me know what would work best for you. This will allow us all to expand our worlds which in turn allows us to be more comfortable in ourselves.
We all need the experience of doing something new, facing our fears or learning new skills. A mind that is open to new experience will be open to more pleasure. When we have a closed mind and we stay in our comfort zone it is harder to develop and grow. The inner strength we develop from overcoming obstacles makes us stronger. As we become stronger we expand our worlds and enjoy living more. Happiness is greater when we fully experience life, when we allow ourselves to be vulnerable, and when we share our lives with others. I hope to share my happiness, my joy in living a life where I get to share yoga with others. I love that I can watch people grow into themselves, learning to love themselves as they learn to love yoga. My students continually teach me about life, practice and different experiences of yoga and this helps me improve my teaching and to explore deeper in my own practice. Please share your experiences, your ideas and your views.
